Land Clearing in Central Kentucky

Done Right the First Time

Land you can't use isn't doing you much good. Overgrown fields, wooded lots and brushy corners all cost you: pasture you can't graze, a home site you can't see, a property line you can't find.

Pistol Ridge Land Services clears land across central Kentucky with excavators and tracked skid steers. We take out the brush, trees and overgrowth, deal with what's left behind and leave the ground smooth enough to use.

We clear for home sites, shops, pasture, ponds and fence lines, and because we also do the dirt work, the same crew can take the ground from overgrown to build-ready.

What's Included

Clearing we do

  • Lot clearing for new homes and shops
  • Brush and overgrowth removal
  • Clearing for pasture and fields
  • Clearing around buildings and barns
  • Pond sites and pond banks
  • Smoothing and grading cleared ground

Clearing to build

If the plan is a house or a shop, clearing is step one of site prep. We clear only what needs to go, keep the trees worth keeping and leave the lot ready to cut to grade.

Clearing to use

For pasture, hay ground or just getting a place back under control, we open it up and smooth it so you can get a tractor or a mower across it. Old fence rows are their own job; see fence row clearing.

Questions

Land Clearing FAQ

How much does land clearing cost?

It depends on how thick the growth is, the size of the trees, the slope and what you want done with the material. Light brush on flat ground is a very different job from a wooded hillside. We look at it and quote it.

Can you leave certain trees?

Yes. Mark what you want kept, or walk it with us, and we'll clear around them.

Can you clear and grade in the same job?

Yes. We clear, then smooth and grade the ground so it's ready to build on, seed or fence.
